Running again

Today I hit the trail in my new shoes. It was time. Felt good. Had to make some adjustments midway. The heel was too loose. I think it was my best time post-surgery! Have to sync my iPod to see.

I have errands to run this afternoon. Hope to scrap more tonight. I made a card, but forgot to photograph it before I stuck it in the mail. Used chipboard letter stickers to spell "thanks" and then used a mini tag with "you" on it. (Noting this to myself mostly as it was a quick and cute card.) Great use of left over letter stickers from my Studio Calico kits.

At least my pages don't look like winter...

Woke to snow on the ground this morning. The kids and the dog went to play outside before church. Good times... took photos, but the sun was pretty bright. Not sure how they came out. They had fun "snow boarding" on their sleds.;)

Decided to work on Easter photos to help me get ready for spring. It is coming right?


Yesterday I did this layout. Doesn't showcase the photos like I wanted, but it's growing on me. I never do this, but I might have to make another page with these photos. I can put one in each of the kid's albums.

Forgot to load this one and since realized I loaded the January layout, I thought I ought to put February. Here's the story... I considered the 365 photo challenge, actually tried it for a few days. Found I was taking lots of photos of the dog.;) The kids are so "over" me photographing them. So that idea faded fast. One of the designers for Studio Calico offered a challenge to create monthly layouts. I thought I could do that! It's been fun. Kind of have a sketch I've created and used for these two. We'll see how the design holds up.

Been Busy Scrapping!

Not doing as good as I had hoped with my "new" blogging endeavor. I've been thinking about it...honestly. Instead of posting I just keep scrapping.... Here's what I've been up to!

I have a new painting to post as well. I did a series of these for my daughter's room for her birthday. Decided to paint an extra one for Etsy. I love it! Need to take a better photo but wanted to share my latest creation.(The paint was still wet when I took this one.) ;)

Makeover....

So, I've had this blog for awhile and initially wanted to use it to help me market my jewelery and such at my Etsy site. But since I haven't really contributed much to it or made much jewelery to sell recently I figured that I should give it a makeover.

Looks different already? Right? Going to have lots more scrapbook, "life-art" stuff. Oh and paintings and jewelry too! This will not take the place of the Family Blog I keep, because the intent is different.

Very excited about this new avenue of sharing my stuff!! So to start this new site off, here's a few of my most favorite recent pages! (Most of the time a recent page becomes a "favorite", funny how that works!)
